intro

Never Odd or Even

Choreographed by Anne C. Moore and in collaboration with composer Chaz Underriner, lighting designer Dan Norman and video designer Damien Nemire-Pepe, Never Odd or Even follows a woman’s exploration of the space in between time, where the underlying connections of her mental processes and relationships are exposed.

Through analyzing these processes and relationships from the outside looking in, she projects herself onto other’s relationships in an attempt to understand and connect to her own life.

The woman creates a world in her mind that genuinely exists within the confines of her brain and she casts herself onto the relationships of the people in this self-created microcosm.

The audience is taken through a non-linear journey of this one woman’s mental processes. As she struggles to move forward in life, she creates a world that allows her to escape her own mind and be an outside observer while simultaneously being an occupant of it. Through the analysis of her mental processes, she creates a world that allows her to move forward in her life.
